@mordsgaudimachen Simple. On the transport window click the 'enable looping' button, then modify the start and end points for the loop.

Use the audio snap feature..that will allow you to adjust the timing of your beat

Also you can use your USB connection? If it allows transfer of real-time audio

Either run the outputs of your pedal into your interface. #2 use your compact flash card adn stick it into your PC's carder reader (if you have one) and drag n drop.

Billy, you're not the only one! I learned by fooling around, checking out some video. Keep in mind if you paid for an instrument, you need to install it into a folder you remember like "InstrumentPlugins" then call it up by using Cakewlks VST adapter. The fastest way, is to ignore the drop downs, just run your mouse over the icons, find the one that says DX, click on it, click the + icon, there you are, the ones built into Cakewalk will be listed, and the instruments are under VST.

thanks, for your answer, I am using Sonar as Daw, and I also learned how to use the Step Sequencer that has helped me a lot to create drums lines and bass lines. ; )
